At heart, Emily is a grower—deeply connected to the land and passionate about producing exquisite flowers. In the studio, she is a dedicated student of floristry, refining her airy, natural style each season. Like many small businesses, HFC began as a passion project, years before it became official. The first green shoots of spring and tiny seedlings sprouting in their trays offer a striking contrast to Emily’s demanding career as an emergency equine veterinarian. While her work in veterinary medicine is deeply meaningful, it often involves meeting people on their most difficult days.
